In July 2020, I attended my first Wedding Workshop. By this time, the Covid pandemic had eased ever so slightly, but had left in it wake an entire industry of venues, florists, MUAs, hair stylists, weddings dress suppliers, and of course photographers (to name but a few) with very little work or guidance on how they were going to survive this time with only a few micro weddings allowed to go ahead.
By getting a variety of these extremely talented and generous creatives together for one day, the team at Lark (Clara @the_unbridled__ & Rebecca @rebeccamarieweddings) made absolute magic, with real couples, no forced intimacy and a venue with a million beautiful nooks & crannies (@ourbeautifulglasshouse in Chiddingfold), it was the perfect setting to really showcase what you yourself could achieve with a micro wedding or elopement while larger weddings are on hold.
These elopement and couple shots show the magic and raw love that can be shown during any wedding, including micro weddings that has trended during 2020 for obvious reasons. Just being the two of you can bring out the best in both of you, taking the time to connect and love freely without having to greet 100 guests and "do the rounds".
